I am the classic, quintessential product of my generation, yet my memoir, Maybe Boomer, is a coming of age tale about not fitting in. I wrote Maybe Boomer as a collection of fifteen short story-like chapters by subject – “Competition,” “Girls,” “Artistry,” etc, – all about feeling excluded from my successful boomer cohort. Although a story of struggle, it’s a journey of celebration, too. My natural inclination to find the humor in life’s most frustrating moments has helped me cope, and to write this memoir.
